So the business has been going for three years and I've never been involved in a fireworks night! I've come close but for whatever reason it's never quite worked out. This year though there were a couple of potential events on offer. Fireworks night at South Northumberland Cricket Club in Gosforth was the closest though and also came via a recommendation from Durham County Cricket Club where I've been involved in a couple of events this year.

I dropped the van off earlier in the afternoon to secure a good pitch which, as it transpired, was not good for actually watching the fireworks!
Fortunately though I wasn't there to spectate, I was there to caffeinate and sell drinking chocolate, lots of drinking chocolate.
The window of opportunity to serve is small at events like this, maybe just three or four hours so it's critical to have a slick operation that can serve quickly while also retaining quality that surpasses customer expectation.
I serve locally produced luxury drinking chocolate from Cacao Brew. It's available on the van in three different cocoa percentages, 38%, 55% or 81% so there's something to suit everyone's chocolate tastes.
